7" single in 1985 by Picky Picnic, an obscure duo known for their playful avant-garde new wave and experimental pop tunes using cute children's voices, and also known that it corresponded with the world artists such as Germany's prestigious Ata Tak label and The Residents. It contains three tracks: "Aischu No Melody," a synthwave tune with piano sounds and nostalgic sound manipulation, "Kutabireta Q" a synthpop tune with a lovely melody and a child's vocoder voice and "My Toast Time" a gimmicky obscure-style tune. Total interesting to listen the cute and unique sensibility. Rare single.
ドイツ名門Ata TakレーベルやThe Residentsなど世界と呼応していた事でも知られ、キュートな子供の声を使った遊び心のあるアヴァンギャルドなニューウェーブやエクスペリメンタルなポップ・チューンが代名詞のオブスキュア・デュオPicky Picnicの85年の7インチシングル。ピアノの音とノスタルジーな音響工作のシンセウェーブA面の”Aischu No Melody”、可愛げなメロディと子供のヴォコーダー声？のシンセポップ・チューン”Kutabireta Q”、オブスキュア調のギミックの効いた”My Toast Time”に全3曲収録。やっぱりキュートで独特な感性が滲んでいて面白いですね。
